We are excited to announce that Patchwork Ethnography will be released as a textbook in 2026. We hope the book will be useful for all of you!

As we finalize the book in the coming year, we would like to collaborate with ten early-career scholars from around the world who have benefited from the idea of patchwork ethnography. Please tell us how this theoretical and methodological framework has helped you! You can find more information and some questions here. We seek submissions that engage with or advance our methodological theorization of patchwork ethnography. Please read our article in American Ethnologist to explore our approach further. We will start reviewing submissions on December 6th, 2024.
